Yes. The app's core functionality is free with no expiry date, no trial period, and no account required. You can use it forever without paying anything.
No. There is no subscription for No BS IF. One optional $3 in-app purchase unlocks the additional themes and home-screen widget.
The $3 purchase includes:

No. The complete fasting loop stays free. The optional $3 purchase adds themes and the widget; it does not remove ads or unlock basic fasting features, because neither is gated. Read the Skip the BS manifesto for the company-wide standard.
No BS IF targets iOS and Android phones and tablets. There is no web app. A native watch app may come later.
We do not collect your fasting data. Fasts, history, streaks, targets, and settings stay on your device unless you explicitly export a backup or share a card. Your device sends an exported backup or share-card image only to the destination you choose; Skip the BS and RevenueCat receive no copy. We do not use ads, advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, crash reporting, or behavioral analytics.
For purchases, RevenueCat processes an anonymous customer identifier, purchase history, an Apple receipt or Google Play purchase token, and basic transaction and device technical data. This validates and restores the one-time unlock, prevents fraud, and provides aggregate purchase analytics. RevenueCat does not receive your fasting or health data, name, email address, payment-card details, or advertising identifiers.
You can request deletion of RevenueCat customer data through support. Full details are in our privacy policy.
No. No sign-up, email, or login. You open the app and it works. If you make a purchase, Apple or Google ties it to your store account and RevenueCat manages an anonymous entitlement record.
Your fasting history, streaks, targets, and settings stay on your device. No BS IF does not upload them to us or RevenueCat, and fasting tracking works offline. Limited purchase data is handled by Apple or Google and RevenueCat so your unlock can be validated and restored. You can import and export your fasting data at any time, and you can share a card when you choose; only the destination you select receives the backup or image.
No BS IF creates a PNG on your device. A completed-fast card contains its completion date, start and end times, duration, target, whether you met that target, and the streak when present. A streak card contains your current streak. Share opens your device's sharing menu, and only the destination you choose receives the image. Save image writes it to your photo library; the app uses photo access only to add this image and does not browse or import your existing photos. Skip the BS and RevenueCat receive no copy.
Your locally stored fasting data is removed with the app. Export it first if you want to keep it or move it to another device. Your purchase entitlement remains with Apple or Google and RevenueCat so you can restore the unlock after reinstalling.
Choose a fasting target from 8 to 24 hours. The app is a timer, not a protocol enforcer.
You can correct the start time before, during, or after a fast.
No cloud sync for fasting data. Your fasting history and settings stay on your device. To move them to a new phone, use the export and import tools in Settings. You're in control of your data.
Complete an on-target fast on consecutive calendar days and the streak grows. Miss a day and it resets. The configurable grace period can count a slightly short fast as on target.
No. The milestone labels are general estimates, not a reading of your body. The app does not access your health data.
